Pokrova Children’s Ukrainian Arts Camp is one of Canada’s most innovative arts camps.

A week-long visual & performance integrated day camp for children aged 6-12 years held in Ottawa, Canada, Pokrova has fun. Mixing dance, music and visual arts in a fast-paced and rich cultural program, any child wanting to learn and play is welcome.

Our history is dynamic.  We work with major national institutions.  Like the National Gallery of Canada, Library and Archives of Canada, Royal Ontario Museum, Portrait Gallery, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, and Canada’s Museum of Civilization (now Museum of History).

And groups in Canada’s National Capital like Ottawa’s Svitanok Ukrainian Dance Society, the City of Ottawa, Chamberfest and Capital Ukrainian Festival.

While collaborating with Canadian artists like Juno-nominated Lemon Bucket Orkestra and artists from Ukraine like Kozak System.

But we don’t stop there.

We give instructors the chance to incubate performance and visual art ideas inspired by Ukrainian & Ukrainian Canadian art and culture. Its a dynamic & creative space to workshop concepts with aspiring performers – campers, counselors and volunteers – to deliver a showcase original public performance.

Pokrova Camp is a creative hub linking people from multiple generations who create and consume Ukrainian art and culture.
